Find More About Blondie
February 12, 2020 Blondie joins Morrisey, Bauhaus, Devo and more for the Cruel World Fest
Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band were pioneers in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-late 1970s.
Arthur Lake had played Dagwood in a long series of "Blondie" movies. This show, retelling stories and situations familiar to readers of the comic strip, lasted one year.
Blondie and Dagwood are about to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary but this happy occasion is marred when the bumbling Dagwood gets himself involved in a scheme that is promising financial ruin for the Bumstead family.
Popular and influential New York-based new wave band that produced classic singles from disco to pop to punk.
Created by Dean Young, Blondie and Dagwood Bumstead are the quintessential American family: working, raising kids, and pointing out the humor in everyday life. At over seventy years old, Blondie is still going strong.
“I’ve never been one to dwell in the past. I think a lot of people feel they like nostalgia because it makes them feel comfortable. I like it to a certain degree, but I really love looking forward.
